Hotel :)

July 7 - 9 go down in history as the best two days of my life. Well not literally but pretty close :)
on Wednesday the 7th I got my lisence! i've been waiting sooo long for this moment. I went the week before and failed unfortunately. I hit a cone on the 3 point turns. But luckily i have a patient mom who went out and practiced with me for a couple of hours. Thanks to all of the hard work my 3 point turn was flawless during my test. I did so well. I was so nervous though. Ha ha. I got to chill out with miriam and mckaela for the rest of the day. We felt so old with our new freedom. I drove them to mutual :) It was awesome. I love being able to drive by myself.

After mutual I met some of my closest friends at Kaleigh Bosens house. Her parents had rented a huge hotel room thing for a week and were unable to use all of the days so they said that Kaleigh could take a few of her friends and that we could stay there from Wednesday night to Friday morning. It was so much fun. The hotel room was huge. It had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two kitchens, and two living rooms. We were in heaven. No parents, a huge hangout, tons of junkfood = the best times.

We got to the hotel at around 9: 20 pm. It was about 20 minutes away from Kaleigh's house where we met. We unpacked then ended up staying up until 3 in the morning! We watched the proposal, played catch phrase and charades, took some crazy pictures, beat Tanna up with pillows, watched Big Time Rush, and played in the bathtub. Then shannon decided to start curling my hair at 2 am. Ha ha oh how I love that crazy Shannie.

This one is my favorite because we all look terrible! Everyone likes to laugh at me cause I look evil.

We woke up on Thursday morning at 11. I was sharing a room with Shannon, Paige and Kaleigh shared a bed, then Tanna got her own bed. In the morning when I was awaken by some mysterious talking outside of me and Shannon's door. I went outside to find Paige, Kaleigh, and Tanna planning some prank on me and Shan. They were mad I woke up but we still did it to Shannon. We snuck into the room and poured pudding all over her face. It was great. That of coarse started a massive pudding war. :) We went swimming at noon. The pool was kinda lame. The deepest part was only 4 1/2 feet. But there was a really sexy life guard. :D There was also a really creepy crying lady... She was just chillin by a beach chair crying really obnoxiously loud.. It sounds mean but we couldn't stop laughing. Ha ha. There was nothing wrong with her, she just wanted attention. She stopped after a few minutes then started blowing bubbles in the pool. RANDOM! After that we came back to the room. When we got there we discovered that the key was broken. Kaleigh had to go to the hotel people and tell them that her mom was out shopping and that we needed a key because we weren't supposed to be there without adults. Kaleigh was freaking out because she hates lying. It was so funny. We finally got in and veged out for the rest of the day. We pulled out the trumble bed in the couch and watched tv. It was really fun :) We had some delicious mac n cheese for lunch and some hot dogs for dinner. Its a good thing we had Tanna there to cook for us. Ha.

While Tanna was cooking me and Shannon hacked her facebook. I've probably never laughed so hard in my whole life. It was so stupid what she wrote, but it was hilarious.

We all commented on it and wrote other hilarious things. :) oh how i love us.

Another Busy week of Summer!! :D

This week was another busy week of summer. I love it. Being so busy is the best part of summer! Eric and Emily have been here all week putting tile in our house. Its pretty crazy down here. Im busy with that, and of coarse spending time with my friends. I slept over at Kaela's on Sunday and we stayed up til like 2 am. I wish we would have taken pictures because our sleepovers are always very interesting ha ha. I went swimming on Tuesday. It was so much fun. We always go to Paige's uncles pool because its awesome! This time it was me, Shannon, Paige, Kim, Jessica, and Keegan. After swimming we went to Paige's aunts house to meet her tortoise and feed all the animals. Me and Jessica kept on scaring the birds. It was soo hilarious.

On Wednesday I went to mutual with Paige. After mutual we went to Shannon's house and hung out. We watched so you think you can dance and were blown away by Alex and Twitch's dance to outta your mind. It was amazing. We rewinded it like 20 times. It was great. After that we watched Zoolander. Best movie of all time. Its so freakin funny.

On Thursday I went to the mall with Shannon and Paige. We made a music video to Eminem's song Not Afraid. It was great.

There's a little photo place and it had this really cute wall up. Shannon really wanted her picture by it so we waited for the lady at the front desk to leave and ran in and took a picture of her with the wall. It turned out really cute. We almost got caught. All the people in the waiting room were staring at us. Ha ha.

Last night I went to a movie at Shannon's house. She projected a movie in her back yard. It was really hot but we had a fan thing blowing cool air at us so it wasn't that bad. We watched monster in law. It was super funny. Me, Kim, Shannon, Paige, and Janie were all squished onto the futon so we had to cuddle. :)

Utah :)

Ive visited Utah twice this summer. I love going and visiting my family. They are so important to me and im glad that I get to see them as much as I do. I got to spend alot of time with my sisters. I love spending time with them. We laugh so much. Laughing with my sisters is most definitely on my list of top 5 favorite things to do. We also play the train game for hours. So much fun. I used to hate playing the train game, but during these last 2 visits I've come to really enjoy it. Its just what we do together and I think its so much fun.

We got to take my dad out to lunch for fathers day. It was fun. We went to Madox. I also got to go spend a couple of days up at his house. My step sister Adrienne came and picked me up from Julies house so we could surprise my dad with a BBQ.

I got to do alot of chalk with the kids. I love these kids so much. I seriously have the cutest nieces and nephews in the whole world.

First weeks of summer. :)

I LOVE SUMMER!! that is seriously all that needs be said. :) I have seriously been having the best few weeks of summer ever. I've spent every single day with my friends who I love so much. Its seriously been perfect. Some of my activities include:

Getting locked out of Mckaela's house. But it was all good because we randomly had a box of pizza :) the only thing that sucked was sitting out in the heat for so long. But we took care of that by taking a dip in her grandmas pool down the street. :D

Dance parties in Kaleigh's car... she has a ghetto car, but I think ghetto cars are one of the best parts of being a teenager. I dont know why ha ha. :D

Swimming at Paige's uncles house, which is amazing! He has the greatest pool in the world. It has a huge water fall and a slide. We have way to much fun on days that we go swimming. Here's us getting ready to jump off the waterfall.

The first time we went, we stopped at walmart and bought this huge blow up turtle and some squirt guns. Shannon decided to jump off of the water fall onto the turtle. When she jumped she ripped a huge hole right through the middle of the turtle. It was SO funny. :) oh man I love summer.

After swimming we would always come crash at my house. My mom would come and complain that we were being to loud and that she needed to sleep for work, so we would go outside and have photo shoots :)

And of coarse summer isn't complete without some random late night walmart runs :)

Jumpstreet! Its this place that is full of trampolines. We went and jumped for a couple hours and had a blast.

We had ALOT of photo shoots. ha ha. Photo booth ones on my mac book are always the best though. These were after swimming at Paige's uncles house.

Camp!

Saturday! The first day of camp. I had to be at the stake center by 530. All the YCLs had to be there early so we could go over our theme introduction skit that had been written the night before by Kim, Shannon, and Tanna. It was about Tanna, Shannon and Melanie being the Virtue crew. It was very funny. They did an awesome high five after they helped girls solve their problems. I sat by Shannon and Tanna on the bus. We listened to awesome jerkin songs on the way and ate treats. Ha ha good times. When we got there we unpacked, had lunch, then a few YCLs had an awesome dance party while everyone else finished unpacking. Then I had to go teach 2nd year certification. It was cool I taught about clouds and directions by the sun. Then we went to air riffle. That was cool too. After all of that everyone got together for flag and mail call. Everyone who had mail had to get up in front of everyone and write their name with their butts :)

The YCLs have to sing songs while all the wards line up for meals... This means we have to eat last. Oh well. Its fun.

We did Sweet Caroline, but we changed the words to sweet ycl. After the Lip syncs, Sister Jones made everyone some delicious creme soda! It was so yummy.
Sunday! We got to go the the dedication of the Gila Valley Temple. It was such a good experience and I'm glad I was able to go. I love our prophet! The girls went in 2 groups cause there was alot of us. All the YCLs went in the first group. When we got back we were supposed to go do a service project. Most of the YCLs ditched out and stayed in the cabin. We had so much fun. We just sat around and talked for a couple hours. We also listened to some music :).

Kim with the waffle fries! Tannas mom bought her this bag of random stuff. It had a mini Jane Austin book, waffle fries, cards and a few other random things. It was really funny. We sat there and ate the waffle fries while Tanna read the book to us. :) the fries were really weird. You kind of expected them to be soft and crunchy cause they looked hollow, but they were really hard! Ha ha.

We helped Shannon put up her bug net. We had to go steel some tacks from the priesthood though. :) She looks like a princess!

We hung streamers up on the fan. Shannon almost broke the fan though. She turned it on and they all like rapped around her body and the fan. It was pretty funny.

After all the groups got back from the temple dedication I got to go to my ward time with my bishop.

Mclean and Brenda. Brenda came up with Taylor and she was a non member. I had such a good time teaching her while I led the SR ward through Nephi's dream for the spiritual program. I got to help teach her about the Iron Rod and about how it was the word of God and how we need to hold on to it. I know she had a really spiritual experience and I was so glad to be apart of it :)

I walked into the cabin after ward time and Michelle was in there all alone so I took a picture of her sleeping then went to the bathroom. When I came back she was awake and asked me what I was doing. I told her I took a picture of her while she was sleeping. She laughed then said thank you, then went back to bed. It was so funny. What a dork.


Monday! Tie dye day! all the YCLs dressed up in tie dye. Monday was also canoeing day for the 2 year girls. I went along with Melina. We had so much fun, but I don't have any pictures yet :( I will post some when I get them. It was really fun. When we got back we had to teach a little bit of certification and go to air riffle. I really hate teaching certification because I had no idea what I was talking about most of the time. Archery was really fun though. I hung out with Tanna and Michelle the whole time. Random story: Michelle had this weird red stain on her shoes and So i asked her if she was bleeding. She said that it was paint, but then she said it was enchiladas. So I was so confused. I looked down at her (she was sitting on a log and I was standing) and said "First it was paint, then it was enchiladas, there is something fishy about this..." then we both just busted up laughing. It doesn't sound that funny when its written but it was hilarious! I guess you just had to be there...

I ditched the second years Spiritual class and joined Tanna and Jessica in their snack bar duty. Shannon was supposed to be helping them but she was to busy dancing. Ha ha

We took some of the 5 dollar bills out of the money jar and wrote on them. It was really funny. I probably shouldn't say what we wrote ;)

We look out the window and see Shannon sitting on Alyssa's head dancing... It was really funny. Oh the things Shannon does when she is ditching her snack bar duty. ha ha


After dinner we played with Shannons sham wow. It was so fun. We made a commercial about all the things it soaks up. Inside joke: Wow, wow, Sham wow!! Ha ha
On Mondays the wards have to cook dinner themselves and have family home evening. The YCLs got to stay in the lodge and eat with the stake leaders then after have our own family home evening. We partied all night. It was probably one of the funnest nights of my life.

We made a huge cup tower! It was seriously like MASSIVE! we used every single cup in the kitchen.

Then president Perkins slid right through it knocking it down.

We were so upset! but we started over and made a few more :) And we got Pres Perkins back really good. We all pretended to play the cup game, then all at once we all just turned around and threw our cups at him. It was so funny. It started this huge cup war and we all threw cups at eachother. Good times.

We played the cup game so many times! It was so fun! We played it to the beat of MJ songs and We will rock you. It was pretty awesome. We played this game so much at camp. It was like our thing.

Then we ran out of things to do with the cups so we put them over our ears. It muffled all the sounds so we were like screaming and laughing. I dont think i've ever laughed so hard at something so stupid. We were all just yelling random things and looking at eachother and cracking up.

After we got tired of playing with cups Me, Shannon, and Paige got the wheel chairs out and had some wheel chair races. I think we were supposed to be cleaning. Whoops. :)
When we got back to the cabin Shannon was determined to start a fire with her little pop gun thing. It was so funny. We were like spraying it with fabreze and putting paper in it. We got some pretty huge sparks, but no fire.

Tuesday! I had to start of the morning by going on the second year hike... It was not fun. I got huge scratches all over my legs and it was so long. When I got back the YCLs were all playing games with the first year girls. It was very fun. After that I had to go teach about an hour of certification. I had to teach them about water purification. It was kinda gross. After that they all went to other classes but I ditched to go hang out with my home girls. Ha ha. We hung out in the snack bar for a while. That was always pretty fun. ;D

This is my YCL leader Sister Pottle. We pulled the dime trick on her. It was so HILARIOUS! The girls had never heard of the dime trick so I had to show them. Pretty sure she wanted to kill me after this. :D He he.

This is Shannon making a "gas chamber" in the refrigerator. She seriously cracks me up! I couldn't stop laughing at this! She wanted to be in the fridge so we put here in there and she said she would knock when she wanted to come out. She sat in there for a while and we were all outside talking then we hear this random laughing coming from inside the fridge. We open and ask her what she was doing. She answers, "Im making my own gas chamber!" Yeah we all totally died laughing at that point.

This is the apple. We got about 15 quarters in there. It was funny because they were the quarters from inside of the money jar in the snack bar and we had no idea how we were gonna get them out. Maybe I shouldn't have taught them the dime trick. :)

oh the megaphone. Everything Shannon said had to be through the megaphone. It was so funny. After our snack bar time was up we went to the YCL cabin and hung out. We were listening to music and blasting it though the megaphone and saying random things. It was so much fun.

Later that night the YCLs got to go to the spiritual class taught by the stake YW leaders. It was very good, but I think we had a little to much fun drawing on Tanna's face while she was sleeping. Ha ha.
Shannon fell asleep too, but not from the lesson, she really likes to get her arm rubbed. Weird right? Ha ha.
Ok just so you know.. The girls like to torture us when we come for devotionals. It was the last night so the leaders were at a meeting and Michelle, Tanna, Rebecca, and Me were at the Centennial cabin helping them make thank you cards and Jaci, the ward YCL who is not much older than us announces that we were sitting in the hot seat, which was one of their leaders bed. Then they decided that they could ask us any question they pleased and that we had to answer it. It was pretty funny. When we were coming back from our hot seat experience with the Centennial ward Shannon, Kim, and Mayra decided to scare us from under the bridge! Ha ha they are way to funny. We stayed to watch them scare the other poor little girls from the Centennial ward. It was Hysterical.

The worst day of camp... the last day D: It was so sad saying goodbye to all of my friends. There is seriously no bond like the bond the girls at camp have. Girls camp is such a special place to me. I love how I can just be my self around all the girls there. We can sing and dance and go insane and just have fun.

Well I had such a good experience at camp. I love camp so much. Its the best 5 days of my summer by far. This was probably my best year. I made so many good friends and memories.
