Brace-less Teeth Are AMAZING

So Im happy to report that I had a pretty chill week, besides my whole topics issue.

I got my braces off!! It feels so good, like I cant even explain. I've been hearing everyone tell me that its gonna feel so weird and slimy when I get them off, but you really cant even imagine what its really like until their actually off. You know what I mean? Like every time I close my mouth my lips slide against my teeth and it freaks me out cause there is nothing in the way! It feels soooooooo good!

My friend Melina came over to my house after our YCL meeting to go to mutual with me. She used to be in my ward and she wanted to come hang out with everybody. We were like best friends last year because we had life facs and lunch together. But this year we grew apart kind of because we never saw each other. This semester we have lunch together and its so nice to see her more. She makes me laugh so hard! Like on Wed when she came over I was making burritos and she was freaking out because I was putting the beans in the microwave. haha She said that I was being lazy. :) I put the beans in the microwave any ways and then we were laughing because i appologized for sticking my finger in the beans. HAHA it was hilarious. I was just trying to check to see if they were warm enough then I realized that it was kinda rude. After we ate we had this photo shoot to show off my pretty new teeth :) It was really fun

I had the BEST weekend ever. Well actually my weekends are all pretty amazing now. On Friday night my friends Melanie and Cierra came over to my house and we watched the sixth sense. It was really fun. After that we hung out and just talked. Its really fun talking to them because we talk about the most random things and we laugh ALOT. We also had this photo shoot which brought alot of entertainment.

On Saturday I went to a YW planning breakfast at 8 am then all the YW came to my house and we watched Prom night. It was really scary and we were all freaking out. It put us in a scary movie mood so we went to blockbuster and rented when a stranger calls and waited until it was dark outside to watch it. When it was dark we turned off all of the lights and watched it. It was REALLY scary. All five of us were cuddled up in blankets and sitting squished up in the corner of my couch because we were so scared. We were screaming and freaking out like crazy fools. It was so fun. After we hung out and played spoons and a few other games. Then we took off taylors pants. It was hilarious. I love nights like that, where its just us and we hang out and forget about everything for awhile. We have so much fun together. Im so thankful that i have such good friends.

A suckish week but still fun? haha idk

Not really liking my schedule for this semester very much at the moment. School kinda sucks when you dont like your classes :(. Well its not that I don't like my classes, its just that i don't really have friends in any of my classes so it kinda sucks. I have to take topics of algebra this semester which is basically word problems and I don't understand what is going on at all and feel like im already falling behind :( its so frustrating and i HATE it. I also bombed my ASL speaking presentation today. I got 50 points off cause it was late last thursday because i left it at home. Yep i was pretty pissed, then on top of that my signing was horrible and im not to fond of my teacher. Hopefully it gets better cause i really want to have a nice spring/summer.

On a happier note, im having a pretty great week so far. I had Monday off and I hung out with Taylor all weekend. We went to the mall and acted like crazies. haha it was good times.

I have alot to look forward to this week because I am getting my braces off tomorrow!! Wooooo! I've had them on for 2 1/2 years and Im so ready to get them off! I also have my 2nd YCL meeting tomorrow which should be pretty fun. Im really excited to be a YCL for my stake girls camp. Then Im ending the week by taking a trip up to my Bishops cabin in some wonderful land where it snows. All YW and YM in my ward are going to plan our mutual activities for the year and to have some fun in the snow together. It should be really fun and Im so excited.

Ok so this is my blog. I've tried blogging before but it didn't work out unfortunately. But I have motivation now. Im making this blog one of the big projects for my personal progress. I plan to write at least once a week, like a journal, and at the end of this year print it all out into a book like my sister Katie has done. Im really excited to give this a go because i really love my life right now. I go to a great high school, I have the best friends and family anyone could ask for, and i belong to the true church. My love for life grows every day as I go through new experiences and im excited to document it.

Speaking of documenting my life, I had a spectacular fall semester this year and i really want to do a quick recap so here it goes.

Highs

1. My fall semester schedule was FANTASTIC. I had Bio, English 2, lunch, geometry, then asl 1.

2. I made TONS of new friends! I love all of them.

3. Centennial football team had a great season.

4. I got a new ipod for my birthday.

5. I went to some pretty gnarly parties on the weekends, did i mention i have good friends? :)

6. I made a pretty sweet ninja video with my friends.

7. I hung out with friends ALOT and loved every minute of it.

8. My nephew Cannon was born and i got to go to Utah so i could be there. I didn't get to see the birth but it was still amazing.

9. I got my drivers permit!!!

10. I spent Christmas with my 2 sisters and their families.

11. I went to an Aggie game with my dad and sisters.

12. My dad came to visit me like 4 times. I love it when he comes to visit.

13. I turned sweet 16!

14. I went to the new years dance with my friends and it was a blast.

15. I got straight B's in school.

Lows.

1. My good friend Javiera moved to Washington. I was so upset.

2. Centennial lost at the semi finals... seriously like the worst night ever!
