im gonna miss this

Im gonna miss Life FACS with melina. We had so much fun in this class every day. Our poor teacher, we would always just sit there and draw on our teachers paper, laugh, eat, talk, play games on my cell phone, take weird pictures, read magazines, draw on my phone, and play with random objects like rings. But oh well we had fun and we passed the class :)

Im gonna miss lunch... It was our time to just chill, eat, listen to music, go to the coyote den, and socialize :) Definitely the best 45 minutes of school.

Im definately gonna miss the who face over the summer. Haha Cierra makes this face like the whos in the grinch, i wish i coulda got a picture of it because it is the funniest thing on the planet!

Im gonna miss math. I had the most fun in this class than my other classes. My two besties Melina and Cierra were in it with me and we would never work we would just sit there and talk all day. I also met a ton of awesome people in this class. But don't worry i passed with a B :)

Well freshman year is over. Its exciting but sad at the same time. I had so much fun this year and I met so many wonderful people, and had tons of good times. Im really gonna miss being a freshman but i know it will be tons of fun to be a sophomore too.

Well basically nothing beats freshman year.

March madness week oddities

So ive been taking alot of pictures in the mirror lately. Its just fun. 

This week was just one of those good weeks. It was march madness. Everybody was dressed up crazy all week. Monday= nerd day, Tuesday= Extreme weather, Wednesday= Hip hop day, Thursday= celebrity , Friday= school spirit! Red White and Blue. Today was the funnest in my opinion. Me, Melina, and Cierra got our faces painted during lunch and it was half classes all day because of the assembly. I cant believe this year is almost over. Im kind of sad, ill only be a freshman for like 3 more months. :( Well.... YAY FOR SPRING BREAK!!!

Me and Kaela just recently found the timer on my new camera. Our latest obsession has been jumping pictures... haha they are so hilarious!! We also got a pretty amazing shot of me shoving her in the freezer. I LOVE TIMERS!!

During Life facs i got a library pass to go print something out. There was some science classes there working on a mars project.  I said hi to some people then i walked over to the printer so i could wait for it to print my like 20 page life facs assignment and i just started singing with the printer with out noticing. My friend vanessa walked up behind me and was like um are you harmonizing with the printer???? I was like haha yeah i guess i am.

OK ive been having this weird obsession with little caesars pizza lately. 

Anyways....

Last weekend or maybe the weekend before that I took mckaela to centennials dodgeball tournament. Seriously like the funnest thing ever!! It was so hilarious!

I learned how to play a Kanye West song on the piano this week!! YEAH BE JEALOUS!

I also learned how to play live high by jason mraz on my guitar. Its a very lovely song. 

In school we started a mars project where we get to look at all these THEMIS images of mars and have to identify lava tubes, craters, channels, sand dunes, and all that crap. Well doing all that stuff brings back some child hood memories. I used to think that everybody had to go to space on vacation and do all this weird stuff and I WOULD GET SO SCARED!!! It sounds stupid but seriously like that whole thought made like 3 months of my young life horrible.

I hate my new seat in math! I DONT LIKE SITTING IN THE BACK!!! I sat in the second row third column for like 3 months and made some great new friends. Now I sit last row second column. ICK!! I miss my old math partners they were very entertaining. Well on the bright side im a little bit closer toMelina (my bestie).

We started cooking in life facs. Its pretty great. We've made alot of cookies, some muffins, orange julius smoothies, and fruit punch. 

So lately on my ipod i have this playlist with 4 songs that ive listened to exactly 230 times each according to the play count. My four songs are as follows:

Well that all might have seemed kinda pointless but i guess thats just all the stuff i want to remember about this week.

Ok so as everyone knows one of my favorite things in the whole world is playing the guitar. I have a growing guitar family.

I got my first guitar about 3 1/2 years ago. I got a yamaha starters package thing. It was a pretty nice guitar. I named it rose because the pickguard looked nice and rosey to me

 

 In 06 I got my first electric guitar. I spotted it one night at the guitar center when my mom took me there just for fun while we were waiting for nick to get out of band practice. I fell in love with it right when i saw it and i knew that i wanted it. I showed it to my mom and she loved it too. I got it for Christmas. That year is one of my favorite christmas memories. I named it curly after my mom.

In July of 07 my dad bought me this guitar. It was my first acoustic electric guitar. I loved it. It is probably my most played guitar of the three. It is named delilah because that is the first song i played on it.

This is the newest member of my family. I bought it yesterday, Saturday January 24 2009. I got some money for Christmas and I've been saving up some babysitting money so i decided that i wanted to buy a really nice, beautiful, perfect, acoustic guitar. I went on the internet and read up on quality of guitars. I picked out all the different types of wood, shapes, and colors that i wanted. I texted miriam and i asked her if she would come help me. I wanted a 3rd opinion about the perfect tone. My mom and I picked up miriam at about 3 o'clock and headed to the guitar center. We got there and headed straight to the acoustic barn. I love that place, its like heaven. It is so warm and it smells like wood. There was like 50 guitars all lined up on the wall they were all very beautiful. I went over to where my price range was. The first ones i saw were 3 taylors, and a martin. I had heard those were the most reliable acoustic brands. I played them all and loved their sounds. I played a few more epiphones but i always came back to those three. I eliminated one taylor so i was left with 2 taylors and 1 martin. I finally eliminated the martin and was left with the taylors. One of them had a very rich mellow tone and the other had a rich bright tone. I decided that i liked the bright one better. I also liked the way it looked better. I had made my final decision so i got the sales person. He was really nice and hooked me up with nice hard case. It has a really cool color of green on the inside as you can see. 

I love my new guitar. I am one happy camper right now. Thanks for coming with me miriam.

Friday nights

Last night i hung out with my two besties. We started the night out at kaela's house and we made some really scary pancakes and popcorn while we tried to figure out plans for a movie. We chose benjamin button at 7:05. It was a pretty good movie, but it was really long we got out at like 10:30.

We all spent the night at my house and had some creative fun with my new camera. We got a glow stick and turned off all the lights in my bedroom and drew funny things in the air with them.

We went out to the front yard and tried to draw somethings there with a cool background with scattered clouds and stuff but it didnt really work that well but i got this cool shot of all the street lights
