On my last week of summer my big sister Katie and her husband Ryan took me, Nick, Julie, and Chris river rafting with them. It was so fun, I had a blast. It was definately the funnest thing i did all summer. As some of you know i am VERY sensative to the sun and i got a little sunburned.

That is the result. Yeah pretty narly right?
For this reason the girls in my PE class call me "Whitey" :)

Rebecca The FRESHMAN!!!!!!!!

I have officially made it through one whole month of highschool and the only thing i can say about it is that....I LOVE IT!!!

School started on August 11 and i don't think i had ever been so nervous in my whole entire life. All i could think about was how I wasn't going to know anybody and how i would just be a dorky freshman but it wasn't like that at all.

Let me introduce you to CENTENNIAL HIGH SCHOOL!!!

I love going to Centennial high school it is seriously the best school in the whole world! I start the day off with early morning seminary at 6:00 AM (ick). My seminary building is right across the street from the school so after seminary i just walk over to the school. School starts at 7:20.

Period 1 7:20-8:50am. I go to photo 1 in building 600. I love this class it is probably my favorite. We just recently made pinhole cameras. It was so cool who knew that an oatmeal box could be a camera?

Period 2 8:55-10:30am. I have math with Mr Trefz in the 200 building. Well this is my boring class of the day but we never really get any home work so that is kinda good.

Period 3 10:38-11:10am LUNCH!!! yum. On Monday's we have gelato!! sooooo goood!! And on Tuesdays i enjoy jamba juice.

Period 4 11:15-12:45pm PE. ICK we are doing swimming right now and i guess it is kinda fun. It feels good to be out of this horrible Arizona sun and sometimes the teacher turns the water slide on for us.

Period 5 12:50-2:20 Choir is a lovely class.

Well theres my whole day. It is really pretty exciting. This semester i have all my electives which kind of sucks because next semester I'm gonna have 3 core classes and only 1 elective ICK!

The Jonas Brothers

As many of you know I am suffering from a very serious disease called O.J.D.

Ob•ses•sive Jo•nas Dis•or•der (əb•séssiv-jō•nis-diss•áwrdər) n.  1 also known as OJD, a serious disease which causes an extreme obsession with a band of brothers, surname being Jonas. There is no known cure for this disease, but most of those who have it, do not mind it, and have learned to manage it by getting their daily dose of Jonas.

Here is some of my random jonas knowledge that i have picked up over the years. Be careful OJD is contagious!!

Paul Kevin Jonas II aka K2, Kev or KEVIN

- Is lead guitar and back up vocals in his band The Jonas Brothers

-Is 20 years old and the oldest of his 3 brothers Joe, Nick, and Frankie

-He knows how to juggle

-Kevin would like to perform with U2 and Coldplay. 

-If Kev could get a personalized license plate it would say "Ballin"

-His most ticklish spot is his right side

-If Kev wasn't making music for a career he would want to be a race car driver

-If Kev had a daughter he would name her Madison Grace.

-Kevins's trade mark is bandanas and scarfs 

Joseph Adam Jonas aka Danger or JOE

-Lead singer and plays tambourine in his band The Jonas Brothers

-Is 18 and second oldest of his 3 brothers Kevin , Nick, and Frankie

-Joe would like to perform with U2, The Police, and 

Rascal flatts

-His trademark is headbands.

-Joe relates to baloo from The Jungle Book because he gives big bear hugs

-Out of his brothers he is the loudest, messiest, and the laziest.

-He wears red starry socks for good luck

-If Joe could trade his brothers for any celebrity he would

 trade Kevin for Shakira and Nick for Beyonce

-He wants to build a disco ball hat.

Nicholas Jerry Jonas aka The President, or NICK J

-Is 15 and the third oldest of his 3 brothers Kevin, Joe, and Frankie

-Plays guitar, drums, piano and sings in his band Jonas Brothers

-At the age of 7 he started performing on Broadway.

-According to his mom Nick will "only eat his hamburgers in circles. He goes around the outside instead of digging right through."

-Nick's trademark is his curly hair.

-His favorite desert is pumpkin pie.

-His favorite superhero is Spider man.

-When Nick was in the Broadway play Beauty and The Beast, he played chip.

-Nick has Type 1 Diabetes. He was diagnosed in 2005 while he was out on tour.

Friday night was one of the best days of my life.  I got to go to a Jonas brothers concert with my bestie Mckaela, Miriam, and Miriam's mom. It was so much fun. We have been fans of the Jonas brothers for a few years now and we hadn't been to one of their shows yet. They have been together for 3 years now but have just barely started getting

 really big. They are on their second headlining tour called the Burning up tour named after their new

 hit single Burning 

Up.

The burning up tour just started last week so me Kaela and Miriam were very excited to see one of the first shows of the tour. It was also really cool because 

Arizona is one of the jobros favorite places to come to because Joseph (the middle one) was born here. Yes the Jonas Brothers are really brothers.

Here are some highlights from my concert

-Demi lovato opened up for the jobros. I have been listening to her music on youtube alot lately and she has the most amazing voice i have ever heard on a 15 year old girl. She did a great job and really had the crowd excited. She was in the movie camp rock with the jobros and has her first cd coming out sometime in November i think. I am really excited for it.

-Demi also came on to sing a duet with Joe from their movie Camp Rock. The song was called This is me and they did a really good job.

- It was after one of the songs and Kevin was taking some time to talk to the crowd and he was talking about the new album and the movie he and his bros were in called camp rock. In the movie he played a dumb guy in a band that really wanted somebody to build him a bird house. So before the song started he said,"I have one more question for you guys.... did anybody build me a bird house.?" It was so funny and the crowd went crazy. Everybody was totally cracking up

-The SOS dance. Kevin does a special dance during one of the songs called SOS. It is tradition at every concert for him to do it so everybody was waiting for it and went totally wild when he did it. I actually got a really good video of it

-The song burning up started out with nick playing the drums and Kevin and Joe started playing floor toms and were rocking out it was so cool. Then they started singing and their body guard Big Rob came out and started rapping for the song it was so awesome. 

-They had a symphony backing up their songs and for an intro to one song the symphony was playing and Joe was up there conducting it. The crowd was going wild and it was really cool, and funny.

-Nick dedicated a song about his diabetes called A Little Bit Longer too a girl who was supposed to come to the concert with her softball team but died a week before. It was really sad and Nick actually started crying. It was a really sweet thing for him to do for her softball team who was there. He also moved them to front row seats.

-During a song called Still in Love With You the boys put down their instrument and picked up these huge hoses and started spraying the whole crowd with foam. It was so cool.

-The hold on spin. It is tradition for Kevin to do a really cool spin with his guitar during hold on. I got a video of it too.

-They covered the song I'm Gonna Get You Good by Shania Twain. It sounded really good. Nick played the drums.

-Nick and the jobro drummer Jack had a drum off and were passing their sticks to each other and counting off to a song it was really cool.

-During Goodnight and Goodbye Joe and Nick did really awesome flips.

-The goodnight and goodbye dance. A dance they always do during goodnight and goodbye

-Nick had a really good guitar solo. It was amazing and really cool because Kevin is actually lead guitar and does all the soloing. 

-The entrence was really cool. The symphony was playing soft music then it turned into this really cool intense crazy stuff that sounded kind of like the beginning of Indiana Jones. When the indiana jones stuff started there was lazers and fire shooting into the air then the jobros just shot out of the floor and started playing Thats Just The Way We Roll

These jonas boys put on the best show I have ever seen in my entire life! They had the whole audience on their feet. The guy sitting next to me brought his daughter and was sure that this was just a stupid boy band but he was on his feet the whole time and i think i even saw him smile. :) 

Seattle trip

Day 1

I arrived in Seattle around 6pm. When we got to Kaelas dads we had to carry my bag all the way to the top of the house into the attic which is kind of like a loft. It was kinda creepy having to carry it up a latter but we made it. When I got all settled in we went downstairs and watched the great mouse detective then had some cereal for dinner. After that we got ready for bed and went up into our loft and took really awesome/random pictures on photobooth and made alot of amazing videos. It was really fun and we ended up staying up till 2:30 just talking and taking weird pictures.

We had alot of fun with the backdrop effect and added jobro backdrops so we could be in a pic with them. It looks totally fake but we had fun.

Day 2

We woke up really late and didn't go anywhere. We just stayed at her dads house in the basement and played games. We played pool, guitar hero, and this wii game called like Ramon's raving rabid rabbits  or something weird like that. It was really fun we played the rabbit game almost all day and it was really annoying because we couldn't get past this level where the bunnies couldn't shut the bathroom door and you had to shut it for them and if you didn't shut it fast enough they throw a toilet plunger at your head. It was really weird. When we got bored of playing video games we got dressed around 6pmish and walked down to a hot dog place with Shannon's mom Diane. They were really good hot dogs. When we got back Kaela's dad made us some really good desert.

Day 3

Today we went to Google where Kaela's dad works. There was a really cool game room there with game systems, pool, air hockey, and Foosball. We ended up playing rockband the whole time. It was fun and we got really good. When we got back we made these poster things with bodies on them so that we could take pictures. It was really funny. Kaela made me a stick person doing the nick j studdmuffin dance and i made Kaela a mermaid. Then we played and made random videos on photobooth

Day 4

Today was the fourth of July! In the morning we went to a lake by her dads house and rented a canoe. We had so much fun and were both canoeing pros from girls camp haha. We had so much fun and just sat in the middle of the lake and talked and tried to hit the booie things. We also met a duckie family. They were so cute and we canoed over to them and they got brave and swam really close to us and we talked to them and named them and they followed us all they way back to shore. After we went canoeing we got dressed in red white and blue and fixed our hair so that we could go to the space needle and watch fire works. It was so cool at the space needle! we were all the way at the top and watched the fire works that were shot off a boat. It was really cool watching them from that high because we were so high that we actually had to look down to see the fire works.

Day 5

Tonight we walked to the market down the street from her dads house and bought TONS of junk food. We bought a packet of jones soda, red bulls, elfudge cookies, and coke. We ate all of it while we listened to music and danced around and took random pictures and videos. It was so fun!

Day 6

Today we made our Jonas brothers pants for the concert we are going to on friday. It was really fun and they turned out really cute. We got the idea of making jobro pants from one of their music videos. On the butt it says one of the jobros names and on the leg it says Jonas. My butt says Nick. Kaela's step mom Shannon had to help us figure it out. It took us an hour to find out the right way to do it. We tried everything and the letters just weren't sticking but we finally got it to work. After we finished the pants we helped Kaela's dad plan a surprise party for Shannon's birthday that was tomorrow. It was really easy to make it a surprise because Shannon is on bed rest because she is pregnant with twins. Me and Kaela's job was to make a cake.

THE CAKE!!! It turned out amazing. We stuck pocky sticks all out the sides and made an s for Shannon with the candles. It had three layers, Chocolate on the outsides and vanilla in the middle. It was also very tasty.

We had way to much fun playing arond in the kitchen while we were baking the cake. We were dancing around and singing to random music the whole time. Her dad gave us chef hats and aprons. 

Day 7. 

We didnt really do anything that amazing. We just played pictionary, and had shannons birthday party. Then we went to see the movie Hancock. It was really good and i loved it. When we got home we had some ice cream then packed our bags to go home:(

Day 8

We woke up at 6 to get ready to go to the airport because our plane was leaving at 8:15.

Kaela slept in for an hour so we didn't leave the house until 7:15 and hit really bad traffic and ended up missing our flight. Her dad had to put us on a standby flight at noon. We made that one.:)

Plop! and my amazing camp video that you should watch

So... on the last day of camp all the cabins were clean and everybody had to just wait outside for the buses. My ward Sahuaro Ranch was all sitting on a picnic bench by a big tree eating leftover snacks from the snack bar. We were just sitting on the bench talking then an abandoned apple caught my eye. I felt so bad for the apple because it had been left by somebody on a table half eaten and it didn't have a face. That is so rude everybody deserves a face so I made it one. I put a couple of twigs in the sides for arms and a piece of grass in the middle for a nose and two rocks for eyes. It was so cute, I named it Plop.

It was so cute but I was like the only one that liked it because a squirrel came out of a tree looking for food and so all the girls near me were telling me to set plop on the floor so the squirrel would come and eat it. I was like no that is so mean i just saved this poor stranded apple and now you guys are telling me to feed it to the squirrel? So I just stuck it in my jacket pocket so that they wouldn't bug me anymore. Later that day when we were on the buses i found plop in my pocket when i was reaching for candy:) It was then that i realized that i cant keep it forever so i decided to just throw it away when i got home. When i got home i put it on the table to show my mom. Then i showed my mom and I thought i threw it away after that but i didn't. I went in my room after church today and guess who was sitting on my dresser 

PLOP!!

Yeah that's pretty much the highlight of my week. I also made a really cool slide show of all my pictures from camp. I was really bored so i decided i would figure out how to use imovie. I actually had a lot of fun and I'm pretty good at it. Its kind of funny how it took me like 2 hours just to make a four minute video. Well yeah you should watch its really cool.
