Girls Camp

This week I got to go to my third year at girls camp. I can't beleive i have been through 3 years of girls camp already! Camp was a blast and I made alot of new friends that I will be seeing at school next year. I got to do alot of really cool stuff including repelling, start a fire with flint and steel and a battery, and go on a really hard 10 mile hike that was climbing to the top of a mountain. One part of the hike was so steep that we even had to climb up a chain! I dont have any pictures of those events yet but when I get them from my leaders ill post them for ya because it was really cool. I also learned how to use a compass and we played a cool little hide and seek game were two girls would hide a bag of candy in the woods and write the coordinates and me and my partner had to find it using the coordinates that they wrote for us.

The funniest moment of camp was when me and Kaela were in our cabins and we were eating hot tamales and i was like crying because they were so hot. Then since they were so hot in my mouth we had the brilliant idea to stick them up our noses instead for a silly picture so we did.It was so funny but it turned into kind of a bad idea when i started to take them out of my nose because my whole face started to burn and my nose started bleeding. HAHA!

We stuck gummi worms up our noses on the bus ride up and that had everybody crackin up because when i took my gummi worms out i started eating one and i accidentily stuck the other one back in the bag! So since it got lost in the bag and we didnt want to accidentily eat it we just gave the bag to somebody else.
Another one of my favorite memories of this year was last nights devotional. All the girls fell asleep before the ycls came to the cabin so when they finally got here to give our devotional the only people awake were me, sister beeson, Blandy (black mandy), Kaela, and melissa and emily thacker who were our two camp leaders. It was the funniest night at camp because we were all tired and we were playing this getting to know you game and I was coming up with all these really random answers and stories for all the questions.

She is the best young womens president in the world! I really appreciate everything she does for me.

I got these awesome sunglasses from my secret sister.
Miriam fell asleep in the middle of the floor and all my pictures of her are blurry because i didnt want to wake her up with the flash so i turned it off. But it was really funny.

Sister Wheeler. She is so cool. It was really funny watching her explain to me and 3 other fourth years that were in our cabin for makeovers that Horny Toads ment that the toads had horns on them. HAHA!
